Welcome to White Oaks Veterinary Hospital!

Our Hospital

We can’t wait to meet you! At White Oaks Veterinary Hospital, our clients and patients are treated like family. And because our veterinarians are also a married couple, your pet just might be the topic of discussion at the dinner table! It won’t be long before our team is as in love with your pet as you are. We strive to develop a long-term relationship with you, while promoting a lifetime of good health for your furry family member.

Scheduling

Whether your pet needs an annual wellness examination and vaccine update, or is having an urgent problem, please call our office at (717) 665-2338 to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable team members. We recommend calling 4 weeks in advance to schedule routine visits. Problem visits are scheduled on an as-needed and available basis.

Because of the high demand for veterinary appointments, we require a deposit to schedule your first appointment at our office, which will be applied toward services provided at the appointment. If rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, the deposit is lost. If the appointment results in a “no show,” the deposit is lost and you will need to pay a new deposit to hold your next appointment.

Your First Visit

During your pet’s initial visit, the veterinarian will take a thorough history, review previous medical records, perform a head-to-tail physical exam, and address any other concerns that you may have. Feel free to bring a list of questions and/or concerns to your appointment. We will also make individual recommendations based on your pets’ lifestyle and risk factors we may identify. Check out these tips for stress free visits for your dog and cat below!

Payment Policy

Payment for services is expected at the time of service. If you are unable to pay for all of the recommended products and services, we will discuss what is most needed and affordable while deferring other less essential procedures, treatments, and products until payment is available. We provide estimates as needed.

For other payment solutions, we recommend CareCredit, a medical credit company with a range of payment options.

Pet insurance allows pet owners the freedom to make medical treatment decisions based on medical needs instead of personal finances. To obtain the best premiums, shopping for your pet insurance while your pet is young will provide the best coverage options for the best pricing. We have found www.petinsurancereview.com to be a helpful website for pet insurance comparison.

Getting to Know You

We want to know as much as possible about your pet! Prior to your appointment, we will ask you to contact your pet’s previous veterinarian so they can email any previous medical records to wovhrecords@gmail.com. Our veterinarian will review your pet’s history prior to your appointment.

If you like to show up with your homework already done, feel free to print and complete our new client form and bring it along to your appointment.
